FWD: The Marine

IF GOD’S TOO BUSY!

Vintage-Veterans-Day2If you don’t know GOD, don’t make stupid remarks!!!!!!!

A United States Marine was attending some college courses between assignments. He had completed missions in Iraq and Afghanistan . One of the courses had a professor who was an avowed atheist and a member of the ACLU.

One day the professor shocked the class when he came in the room and looked to the ceiling and flatly stated,
‘God, if you are real, then I want you to knock me off this platform. I’ll give you exactly 15 minutes.’

The lecture room fell silent. You could hear a pin drop.

Ten minutes went by and the professor proclaimed,
‘Here I am God. I’m still waiting’

It got down to the last couple of minutes when the Marine got out of his chair, went up to the professor, and cold-cocked him, knocking him off the platform. The professor was out cold.

The Marine went back to his seat and sat there, silently. The other students were shocked, stunned, and sat there looking on in silence.

The professor eventually came to, noticeably shaken, looked at the Marine and asked,
‘What the heck is the matter with you? Why did you do that?’

The Marine calmly replied,
‘God was too busy today protecting American soldiers who are protecting your right to say stupid stuff and act like an idiot. So, He sent me.’

IN GOD WE TRUST

SLEEP LAST NIGHT?

Bed a little lumpy…
Toss and turn any…
Wish the heat was higher…
Maybe the a/c wasn’t on…
Had to go to the john…
Need a drink of water…

Yes… It is like that!
Count your blessings, pray for them,
Talk to your Creator

And the next time when…
The other car cuts you off and you must hit the brakes, or you have to park a little further from Walmart than you want to be, or you’re served slightly warm food at the restaurant, or you’re sitting and cursing the traffic in front of you, or the shower runs out of hot water,

Think of them…
Protecting your freedom!

The attached photo was forwarded from one of the last U.S. Marine companies in Iraq.
They would like to have it passed to as many people as possible, to let the folks back home know that they remember why they’re there and that they remember those who’ve been lost.

FORWARD this to 13 people in the next 15 minutes. Go!

I HOPE I DO NOT HEAR OF ANYONE BREAKING THIS ONE OR SEE IT DELETED!
This is a ribbon for soldiers fighting in Iraq. Pass it on to everyone and pray.

FWD: A Memorial

DO YOU KNOW WHAT? OR WHERE THIS IS?
U.S. Army's 4th Infantry Division
This statue currently stands outside the Iraqi palace, now home to the 4th Infantry division. It will eventually be shipped home and put in the memorial museum in Fort Hood, Texas.

The statue was created by an Iraqi artist named Kalat, who for years was forced by Saddam Hussein to make the many hundreds of bronze busts of Saddam that dotted Baghdad

Kalat was so grateful for the America ‘s liberation of his country; he melted 3 of the heads of the fallen Saddam and made the statue as a memorial to the American soldiers and their fallen warriors. Kalat worked on this memorial night and day for several months.  To the left of the kneeling soldier is a small Iraqi girl giving the soldier comfort as he mourns the loss of his comrade in arms.

Do you know why we don’t hear about this in the news? The media avoids it because it does not have the shock effect. But we can do something about it. We can pass this along to as many people as we can in honor of all our brave military who are making a difference.

Please forward this on!

FWD: A Few Good Men

TO ROLL ALL OVER THE U.S.
Please don’t delete this until you send it on, Let’s send it around the world.
This is a poem being sent from a Marine to his Dad.
For those who take the time to read it, you’ll see a letter from him to
his dad at the bottom.
It makes you truly thankful for not only the Marines, but ALL of our troops.

“Protecting the rights of even the least individual among us is basically the only excuse the government has for even existing.”
Ronald Reagan

THE MARINE

image002

We all came together,
Both young and old.
To fight for our freedom,
To stand and be bold.

In the midst of all evil,
We stand our ground,
And we protect our country
From all terror around.

image003
Peace and not war,
Is what some people say.
But I’ll give my life,
So you can live the American way

image004
I give you the right
To talk of your peace.
To stand in your groups,
and protest in our streets.

image005
But still I fight on,
I don’t fuss, I don’t whine.
I’m just one of the people!
Who is doing your time.

image006
I’m harder than nails,
Stronger than any machine.
I’m the immortal soldier,
I’m a U.S. MARINE!

image007
So stand in my shoes,
And leave from your home.
Fight for the people who hate you,
With the protests they’ve shown.

Fight for the stranger,
Fight for the young.
So they all may have,
The greatest freedom you’ve won

image008
Fight for the sick,
Fight for the poor
Fight for the cripple,
Who lives next door.

image009
But when your time comes,
Do what I’ve done.
For if you stand up for freedom,
You’ll stand when the fight’s done

Hey Dad,

Do me a favor and label this ‘The Marine‘ and send it to everybody on your email list. Even leave this letter in it. I want this rolling all over the US ; I want every home reading it. Every eye seeing it. And every heart to feel it. So can you please send this for me? I would but my email time isn’t that long and I don ‘t have much time anyway.
You know what Dad? I wondered what it would be like to truly understand what JFK said in His inaugural speech. ‘When the time comes to lay down my life for my country, I do not cower from this responsibility. I welcome it.’ Well, now I know. And I do. Dad, I welcome the opportunity to do what I do. Even though I have left behind a beautiful wife, and I will miss the birth of our first born child, I would do it 70 times over to fight for the place that God has made for my home. I love you all and I miss you very much. I wish I could be there when Sandi has our baby, but tell her that I love her, and Lord willing, I will be coming home soon. Give Mom a great big hug from me and give one to yourself too.

Aaron

Please let this marine (and all our military) know we care by Forwarding his poem onto your friends even if you don’t usually take time to forward mail…do it this time!
Thanks!

Let’s help Aaron’s dad spread the word ….
FREEDOM isn’t FREE
Someone pays for you and me.

FWD: MADE IN THE USA

How to Read Bar Codes!

GREAT WAY TO “BUY USA & CANADA” AND NOT from CHINA!!

This may be useful to know when grocery shopping, if it’s a concern to you.

Many products no longer show where they were made, only give where the distributor is  located.  It is important to read the bar code to track it’s origin.  With all the food and pet products now coming from China, it is best to make sure you read label at the grocery store and especially Walmart when buying food products.

The whole world is concerned about China-made “black hearted goods”.

Can you differentiate which one is made in Taiwan or China ?
Bar Codes

If the first 3 digits of the barcode are 690 691 or 692, the product is MADE IN  CHINA and 471 is Made in Taiwan .

This is our right to know, but the government and related departments never educate the public, therefore we have to RESCUE ourselves.

Nowadays, Chinese businessmen know that consumers do not prefer products “MADE IN CHINA “, so they don’t show from which country it is made.

However, you may now refer to the barcode – remember if the first 3 digits are:

690-692   Made in CHINA
00 – 09     Made in USA  or  CANADA
30 – 37      Made in FRANCE
40 – 44     Made in GERMANY

471 …       Made in Taiwan
49 …         Made in JAPAN
50 …         Made in UK – United Kingdom

BUY USA & CANADIAN MADE products by watching for “0” at the beginning of the number.

We need every boost we can get!   If the government won’t help us, we MUST help ourselves.

Forward this on to everybody on your E-Mail Contact List!!
